Description

Concluding episodes of the third series of the popular telefantasy. ‘The Bitter Suite’ has the alter-egos of Xena and Gabrielle fighting it out in an illusory world. ‘One Against An Army’ finds Gabrielle injured with a posion arrow and Xena rushing to find an antidote. ‘Forgiven’ introduces Gabrielle to the obnoxious Tara, her new rival for the much-coveted role of Xena’s sidekick. In ‘King Con’ Joxer is cheated and beaten-up by rotten casino workers. ‘When in Rome…’ finds Xena implored to help free a freedom fighter held prisoner by Julius Caesar. ‘Forget Me Not’ has Gabrielle visit the Temple of Nemisine, Goddess of Memory, in the hope of recovering a forgotten truth. ‘Fins, Femmes and Gems’ pits the girls against the goddess Aphrodite, when they attempt to stop her stealing a valuable diamond. In ‘Tsunami’ our heroines find themselves aboard a ship about to be hit by a giant tidal wave. ‘Vanishing Act’ has Autolycus, King of the Thieves, embarrassed when he himself becomes the victim of a daring robbery. And in the two-part episode ‘Sacrifice’ Gabrielle’s evil daughter appears back on the scene, determined to cause mayhem.
