Description

Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt star in this fantasy adventure based on the Disneyland theme park ride. British scientist Dr. Lily Houghton (Blunt) travels to the jungle with her brother McGregor (Jack Whitehall) to try and discover the Tree of Life, which is rumoured to exist and have immense healing powers. In order to help them on their expedition they hire experienced riverboat captain Frank Wolff (Johnson). Their journey proves treacherous as they encounter all manner of wild animals, as well as the eccentric Prince Joachim (Jesse Plemons), who is determined to be the first to discover the mystical tree.
